Website, app, or both: what's the difference?

It tells the builder what to lead with. Website is web first, App is phone first with a tab bar, and Both gives you a full website and an app.

Website: built for the web first. A lean app version still comes free.
Both: a full website and an app from one build. Recommended for most businesses.
App: phone first, with an entry screen and a bottom tab bar, plus one simple web page.

Change it in Setup, then General. It shapes future builds only and won't rewrite pages you already have.

Use the Desktop, Mobile and App buttons at the top of the editor to see each version.
