What does it cost to leave a no-code platform?

Usually, everything. That’s their leverage.

Your app only runs on their servers, so when the price goes up, the choice is pay it or start over. Here is the lease most no-code apps live under, and what changes when you own the place.

Can I take my app with me?

Check the exit before you move in.

Most platforms show you the way in. Here the way out is built in: one export, on every plan, with your pages, your data and your members’ logins, as a project that runs on any server with Node and Postgres. It runs without us.

Who built the exit?

We were the tenant. So we built the way out.

Our founder started building on a major no-code platform in 2015, and in 2016 we became one of its first certified agencies. For years we built our clients’ apps on it. Then, in June 2023, one of our apps was taken offline for hitting its workload limit, and the overage bills came after.

So we built the opposite: you pay for the work, every limit is printed, and the app is yours to take.

Questions

The no-code exit,
answered.

Can I move my app off a no-code platform?Yes, rebuilt
Yes. Describe the app you have in plain words and it gets rebuilt here as a real app, with logins, payments and a database already working. There’s no file to import: you describe it, and you watch it build.
How long does a rebuild take?Minutes
A first version takes minutes, usually under half an hour. Then you change it by asking. Every change builds on a draft you preview, and your live app only changes when you publish.
Can Lynqly raise my price later?Every limit is printed
Prices can change anywhere. What we promise is how: every limit is printed next to the price, and any change comes with 30 days’ notice. And you can export your app on every plan, so if we ever cost more than the trouble of leaving, you’ll leave. That’s our price cap.
What happens if my app goes over its limit? It stays online
Free apps include 250,000 operations a month, about 25,000 visits. Past that, your pages, sign-ins and checkout stay up; form saves, uploads and automations pause until the 1st. Live and Pro have no monthly cap (fair use applies).
Can I really take my app and leave?Yes
Yes, on every plan. Export your pages, data and member logins as a project that runs on any server with Node and Postgres. The engine is Fair Source, and every release becomes MIT two years after it ships.
If I leave, do my members have to reset their passwords? Not if you include them
No, if you choose to include them. An export can carry your members’ password hashes, so they sign in with the passwords they already have.
Where does the money from my sales go?Into your own Stripe
Paid into your own Stripe account. Lynqly never holds it. We take 1% or less of each sale, and the cut gets smaller on every plan up.
Do I need to know how to code?No
No. You describe what you want in plain English and it builds. If you can send a text, you can build here.
What can’t it build?Live, real-time features
Live, real-time features: GPS tracking, video streaming, instant chat. It builds the working version (statuses, uploads, messages) and tells you up front.
