AI steps come in three levels: Fast for sorting and picking out details, Smart for text your customers will read, and Frontier for the best quality. Fast costs a fraction of a cent per use, and Frontier a few cents.

On Free, when the included AI is used up, AI steps use their written fallback until the 1st and everything else keeps running. On a paid plan, AI past what's included is added to your next plan bill, and less than $1 over is never billed. Paid plans start with a safety cap of 10 times the included AI, so a busy month never surprises you; change it any time. If your monthly cap is reached, AI steps use their fallback on any plan. Your build balance is never used for AI in your app.
AI receipts never include what your visitors typed.
