Subscribers pick, you prep the count.
Customers subscribe to a weekly plan and pick their meals from your menu, and only subscribers can save picks. You get the count for every dish, and the plan renews in your own Stripe.
It starts from“A meal prep site where customers sign up and subscribe to a 5-meal or 10-meal weekly plan, only subscribers can pick their meals from the weekly menu, picks are saved to their account and emailed to them, my Admin counts how many of each dish to prep, I can close the week’s picks from Admin, and I get a weekly summary email.”

What comes working in a meal prep subscription app?
Plans, picks and a prep list.
Plans, picks, the prep list and the weekly cutoff all work from the first build, in your kitchen’s name.

Plans that renew in your Stripe
A 5-meal plan and a 10-meal plan, each at the price you set in your own Stripe. Customers subscribe once and the plan renews on its own.
- ✓ Comes working02
Picks for subscribers only
Customers browse the weekly menu, and only those with an active plan can save picks. Everyone else is shown the plans.
- ✓ Comes working03
Picks saved to each account
Subscribers choose this week’s meals, get an email of what they picked, and see their picks when they come back. No other subscriber can see them.
- ✓ Comes working04
Accounts with a password reset
Customers sign up, log in and reset a forgotten password by email, without writing to you.
- ✓ Comes working05
The prep list, counted
Your Admin counts every dish across the week’s picks, so you know how many trays of each to cook and how much to buy.
- ✓ Comes working06
Close the week from your Admin
When it’s time to shop, close the week’s picks with one button. Anyone who tries to pick after that sees a short note that the week is closed.

A weekly summary to you, on Live
Each week an email with the dish counts lands in your inbox. Scheduled emails run on the Live plan, from $8 a month.
What subscribers pick, and what you prep.
Subscribers open the week’s menu and choose their meals. You get the count for every dish in your Admin, ready for the shopping list.
How does a subscription help a meal prep business make money?
Know the week before you shop.
A meal prep kitchen makes its margin at the grocery store. When subscribers have picked before you shop, you buy what the week needs, cook to a counted list, and throw away far less.
Plans that renew steady the cash, too. A customer on a plan pays every period without being asked, so the week’s income is known before the first pan heats up.
- Buy to the countThe prep list tells you what to order.
- Steady incomePlans renew in your Stripe on their own.
- Less wasteNo guessing how many of each dish will sell.
Which meal prep plans should you offer first?
Two plans, one weekly menu.
Most kitchens start with two sizes, like 5 and 10 meals, and a rotating menu of eight to twelve dishes. Keep the menu small enough to prep in one day, and add a plan size only when customers ask for one.
There’s no pause button, and subscribers can’t cancel inside the app (you cancel from your Stripe dashboard). It doesn’t plan delivery routes or track drivers.
